Schedule Information

This page explains
all the scheduling information for the sports on the site.
Original Basketball,
Baseball, Hockey, Soccer, Football
These sports all run on the same schedule. There is approximately 7-14
days of pre-season, followed by a 36-game league schedule for full leagues
(10 teams). If you are not in a full league when schedules are made,
you will play random games against your league teams until the full
36 game schedule is complete. After each league schedule is complete,
the tournament starts within 1-2 days. Tournaments last about 7 days,
after which a small number of post-season games will be played. When
the new season starts, ALL TEAMS ARE RESET and you must allocate new
skills and draft new players. We do this so that everyone has an equal
chance of winning.
Hoops 2
This sport follows a similar schedule to the sports above, but is staggered
by about 3 weeks. Eventually, this sport will be on the same schedule
as the other sports.
Golf
Golf seasons last approximately 2 months and are reset within 1-2 days
of completion of the final event. Golfers accumulate their skills and
are send to the Hall of Fame when all skills are maxed out. Managers
will get a new golfer after their golfer is sent to the Hall of Fame.
After each season the leagues are re-shuffled, and the top finishers
from each league are sent to the Premier League to compete against the
best golfers. The top 50 from the Premier League return to compete in
the Premier League, however the remaining 50 are sent down to regular
leagues.
Tennis
Tennis seasons last one month and events start on the 2nd of each month.
The last event is played on the 27th of the month. Tennis players are
not automatically entered in events, you must create your schedule by
clicking on 'Make Schedule.' As events pass through the months, you
cannot adjust your player's schedule for previous events in the month.
You must wait until the 28th to do so.
Racing
Racing runs every night starting on the 1st through the 28th. You are
automatically entered in events. The top 50 in qualifying get to race
the actual race the following day. After each season the leagues are
re-shuffled, and the top finishers from each league are sent to the
Premier League to compete against the best racers. The top 50 from the
Premier League return to compete in the Premier League, however the
remaining 50 are sent down to regular leagues.
Figure Skating
Figure Skating events start on the 2nd of each month and run through
the 27th. The short program results are available on the even days and
the long program results on odd days. You cannot change your skating
group during the season. After the final event you may elect to leave
your group, join a private group, create your own private group, or
join a new public group. Public groups are re-shuffled immediately before
the next season starts and you are grouped with skaters of similar skill.
Private groups will not be reshuffled, but the skills of private group
skaters will be reset so that all skaters in the private group start
with the same skill level.
